Texans Respond with a Field Goal

Matt Schaub is human after all.

After going most of the first half without missing a completion Schaub had two passes knocked away at the line. The second pass deflection was knocked into the air and Andre Johnson was able to keep the ball away from New Orleans.

This set of downs saw RB Ben Tate making some impressive moves on the field. His awareness and vision payed off as he broke off a run for more than 20 yards in his second "debut" after a season-ending injury in his rookie year.

With Tate's great performance tonight the running back competition just got a whole lot hotter. Chris Ogbannaya showed great potential last week and Tate is responding loudly this week. The Texans currently have five running backs and will most likely carry four into the season.

The Texans' offense stalled late in the drive and Neil Rackers put up a 49-yard field goal.
