Super Bowl 2011: The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie promised at the Super Bowl halftime show press conference today that there will be no wardrobe malfunction a la Janet Jackson's breast-baring halftime show of Super Bowl XXXVIII on Sunday.
Fergie said that she hopes to be sexy, just not too sexy. If only she could not be present.
What happened to the movement toward classic rock artists? Bruce Springsteen, The Who, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney all did a fine job reviving the Super Bowl halftime show's reputation after Jackson and Justin Timberlake trashed it.
But the Black Eyed Peas? If I wanted to hear their music I would just tune into a pop radio station and hear three of their songs in an hour. There are only 10,000 better option out there for FOX to have signed.
Use the Super Bowl halftime wisely: stock up on chips and guacamole, use the bathroom chat someone up in another room before scouting out prime real estate for the second half.
