Aldon Smith Should Fit Nicely Into Kansas City's 3-4 Defense
The Kansas City Chiefs may have won the division in 2010, but they never really were the best team in the AFC West (that would be the Raiders). They're on the right track, but they are still a few pieces away from establishing themselves as a true power in the AFC.
One thing the Chiefs could use is an outside linebacker, and they will have their shot at a potentially very good one in Missouri's Aldon Smith.
Smith is a bit of a tweener, but he has the right kind of size and athleticism to be a very effective player at the pro level. He wasn't the best pass rusher as a defensive end, but he could be a terror for opposing quarterbacks if he's attacking from behind the defensive line.
Considering the Chiefs already have Tamba Hali in the mix, they could have themselves a defense that would give quarterbacks nightmares if they take Smith.
