D.C. United stadium update: Washington's Buzzards Point and Capital City Market under consideration
From Jonathan O'Connell at The Washington Post's Capital Business supplement, two sites in Washington have been identified as potential locations for a proposed D.C. United stadium. Buzzards Point is in Southwest, near Nationals Park. Capital City Market is in Northeast, near the intersection of New York and Florida avenues. These developments come amid Baltimore's overtures to attract the club with a new stadium in the Westport neighborhood near Interstate 95 and Camden Yards.
