WPS suspends 2012 season

Another milestone was achieved this past weekend for women's professional soccer in the United States, as the U.S. women's national team qualified for the Olympics. Unfortunately for the players, they might not have a domestic season in which to prepare for the Summer Games. The owners of the five Women's Professional Soccer teams decided to suspend the 2012 season on Monday morning.
