Update on D.C. United trialists

D.C. United released eight of 14 trialists after the first week of training camp and invited three new players to workouts in Florida, which begin Tuesday at Lakewood Ranch.

The newcomers are goalkeeper Josh Lambo, a former U.S. youth national team player who spent four seasons with FC Dallas; Alanzo Adlam, a 22-year-old Jamaican forward; and Sebastian Svard, a 29-year-old Danish midfielder who launched his career in the Arsenal system and went on loan with four clubs before playing for Moenchengladbach in Germany and Roda in the Netherlands. He is of Swedish and Ghanaian descent.
