Charlie Davies, D.C. United's goalkeeper search, Colombian trialist, Danny Szetela arrested, WPS schedule

My story about the Charlie Davies deal will be posted soon on the main sports page. Dan Steinberg, who writes The Post's fabulous Sports Bog, was also in attendance at RFK Stadium for the formal introduction of D.C. United's new forward and, in a wide-ranging column, explores French cheese, the Stanky Leg and Honduran hostels. In other news: *With Steve Cronin sidelined and Bill Hamid not quite ready for regular work, United tossed around the idea of new goalkeepers coach Pat Onstad coming out of retirement. It's probably not going to happen, however. But if it did, Onstad's former club, the Houston Dynamo, would undoubtedly raise the issue of compensation. Onstad, 43, retired in December to work for United. DCU is aggressively searching for goalkeeping help, and according to Coach Ben Olsen and General Manager Dave Kasper, trialists will join the club in camp in California soon. For much more.....
