According to prowrestling.net, WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper wants to do a "Piper's Pit" with both The Rock and John Cena prior to WrestleMania 28.
In a recent interview with Monday Night Mayhem, Piper stated the following:
"The WWE has to recognize this. You have The Rock who has done X amount of movies, Cena who has done X amount of movies, and myself X amount of movies and all this stuff outside of the business. If you don't put us together in 'Piper's Pit,' you're nuts. That's where magic is made. The fun and the seriousness. We have that opportunity for us who are still around and with that kind of reputation to give the fans something they have never seen before, and that's lay our reps on the line. If they don't do that, I would be very disappointed."
To me this seems like a no-brainer, as Piper could definitely add some fuel to the fire and maybe even draw even more interest. Not that this feud needs any help, as both Cena and The Rock have done an amazing job with their promos.
So much so that fans including myself feel that there is some real tension between these two stars. Either way, "Hot Rod" could easily be added in the mix as he has been known to stir the pot throughout his career.
Who knows, this could even lead to a yearly segment for Piper, heading into each WrestleMania main event.
