NFL Predictions Week 3: 3 Desperate NFC Teams Who Will Win

It's only Week 3 of the NFL season but several teams already need a win to get their season heading in the right direction.

Let's take a look at three desperate NFC teams who will get an important win this week.

1) Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings season has gotten off to a dreadful start, and their matchup against the Detroit Lions will be one of the best games of the week.

New Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb has not played well this season, and hasn't been able to close games in the fourth quarter.

If he can be protected against the fierce Lions defensive line this week, McNabb will be able to pick apart the weak Lions secondary.

A better game from McNabb combined with another stellar performance by running back Adrian Peterson will lead the the Vikings to victory on Sunday, and help the team avoid an 0-3 start.

2) Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are another team that got off to a poor 0-2 start, but have a chance to fix that this week against NFC West rival the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals defense can be exposed, expecially upfront, so running back Marshawn Lynch will have a big game Sunday to help Seattle grab a crucial victory.

Seattle won this division with a record of 7-9 last season, so every game counts no matter how bad your record at the time may be.

3) Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys' biggest concern going into Monday night's matchup with NFC East rival Washington Redskins is the status of quarterback Tony Romo.

Romo is battling a rib injury, and may not play on Monday, and if he does not Jon Kitna will get the start.

Kitna played well in Romo's absence last season, and is fully capable of getting the most out of the many Cowboys offensive weapons.

The Cowboys will pressure Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman all game, and their offense will score just enough points to beat Washington and earn an important division win.
