The Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs are all primed to pull off an upset. Each of these teams will be facing divisional rivals, with only the Bears having a home game. When it comes to divisional games, you can throw out the record books. However, each of these teams face a tough task.
The biggest surprise this season has been the success of the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo has pulled off two victories against teams that were expected to contend for a playoff spot. Ryan Fitzpatrick has emerged has a very good looking quarterback. He hopes that his success will land him a long-term job.
Today's game against the Patriots is a tough test, but winable. New England has put up a ton of points, but also has given up a ton of points. They key for Buffalo will be finding a way to match the Patriots offensive production. Buffalo needs to avoid mistakes, as Tom Brady will take advantage of every opportunity.
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers have one of the most ferocious and storied rivalries. Today's game continues the rivalry, with the Bears hoping to earn a statement victory.
The Bears defense has done a good job defending Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been able to win games, but his numbers are less than impressive. The Bears ability to slow Aaron Rodgers will be the key to the football game.
The Kansas City Chiefs boat is taking water, with the majority of people jumping ship. However, they have an opportunity to right the ship, by earning a victory against the San Diego Chargers. Last season, the Chiefs were able to edge the Chargers for the division title.
However, this season has been a real struggle, with the Chargers looking like the early favorite. Matt Cassel needs to have a big game and take some pressure off of his running game. A running game that will now be counting on Thomas Jones and Dexter McCluster.
All three of these teams face an uphill battle, but are all capable of orchestrating an upset.
