The only question surrounding Andrew Luck’s 2012 NFL draft status is what the Indianapolis Colts will do with Peyton Manning leading up to April.
During the Stanford quarterback’s interaction with the media at the 2012 NFL scouting combine Friday in the Colts’ backyard, Luck said he plans on going at the top of the draft and “wants to be the best.”
Luck grew up idolizing Peyton Manning and said he would be “honored” to hold the clipboard as Manning’s backup for as long as needed.
The Colts have already sat down with Luck, and at this point, the only thing left for Luck to do is get through the combine and his pro-day unscathed. Only an injury could affect Luck’s status at this point.
