A few weeks ago, D.C. United?s Dwayne De Rosario beat the club that had just traded him. On Saturday night, he inflicted the damage on the team that launched his exceptional MLS career 10 years ago.
With superbly struck goals 10 minutes apart, De Rosario lifted United to a 2-0 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
United (6-6-8) extended its away unbeaten streak to six matches (3-0-3), dating from late April, and avenged a 4-2 loss to the Earthquakes in Washington in June.
