2011 NBA Mock Draft All 30 Picks, Timberwolves Grab Derrick Williams at No. 2 Overall
After taking Johnny Flynn and Ricky Rubio in the same draft two years ago, the Timberwolves are done selecting point guards of the future.
Especially because Rubio hasn't played a minute for Minnesota and Flynn, overall, as been a disappointment.
With Irving gone, Williams has got to be the pick here for the T-Wolves. With Michael Beasley already in the lineup, Williams will have to find his own role on the team.

Both guys are very mobile for their size, are above the rim players, but Beasley is the better shooter.
With Beasley, Love and Williams, Minnesota will have a young, hustling trio of big guys that all bring slightly different skill sets to the court.
In reality, there's a chance the front office of the Timberwolves trades the selection, so keep a look out for another draft day move.
If they hold on the to the pick, Williams will go No. 2 overall, and Minnesota will be underrated, but very talented on each wing.
