It was a good weekend for MLS, what with David Beckham returning in time from the royal wedding to suit up for the Galaxy, a rookie?s hat trick, no broken legs, a touching tribute to Steve Zakuani and home teams rewarding their supporters by winning eight matches and and drawing the other. Best of all was attendance. Despite two low turnouts, the average was more than 19,000. The breakdown:
