Just days before the U.S. national soccer team is to play Italy, Coach Juergen Klinsmann has had to scramble to fill out his roster.
Landon Donovan (bronchitis), Jermaine Jones (calf), Timothy Chandler (hamstring) and Jose Torres (hamstring) have been scratched in the past 24 hours. Sacha Kljestan and Brek Shea were summoned Sunday, and other additions are possible Monday.
