Regarding the NHL's return to Winnipeg and the potential for relocation, Craig Custance writes: "This situation is far from settled, but multiple sources told Sporting News that the most likely scenario right now would be to keep Winnipeg in the Southeast for one season and then restructure the divisions in 2012. That would allow the situation in Arizona to play out, since Glendale, by authorizing a $25 million fund meant to cover the NHL-owned Coyotes' operating losses, has signed on to keep the team around for at least one more year."
