As we've said before: The best part of a goalie fight, besides the hilarity of over-padded waddlers doing this dance, is the anticipation. As in, who breaks the standoff to flip his mask, skate down the rink and start throwing bombs?
There's a good stare-down here before the chaos, as freshman goalie Alex Corbin of San Diego State University and Brad Werhun of UNLV battle in an ACHA game last weekend. And unlike some fights, there was more than one punch landed (fight starts around 1:18):
Nice arm raise and "check the logo" move by Corbin after the fight.
Ah, college club hockey: More fun than club lacrosse, drinks less than club rugby. Never change.
