Charlie Davies and D.C. United: What's next?
Charlie Davies's productive debut for D.C. United on Monday morning came against Canada's under-20 squad -- not exactly Real Madrid, or Real Salt Lake, for that matter. But that's besides the point. United needed to see him in a competitive setting, regardless of the opponent or outcome, and after watching Davies contribute a goal and an assist in 74 minutes, the club is probably one step closer to finalizing a season-long loan with French club Sochaux.
